BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS 

We have made the booking section as easy as possible. We understand the phone version can be hard to manoeuver, but 99% of our clients book their appointment on their phones, You can of course use your laptop to save you time.

We decided to make you book the length, size and colour you want and even select accessories and aftercare without needing to contact us or spending 30 minutes on the phone trying to explain to us. You will also be avoiding late night text with questions relating to your booking. Most importantly, you won’t stress whether we got the style you want right. So following the steps with patience will do the job. of course, we are working on making the website better each day.

The secret to our website is one-word READ! if you see words, read that. It’s there for a reason. It may be long but will save you time and avoid having your time cancelled. A cancelled time may mean before you can reach us again with your questions, someone may book that time.

  • APPOINTMENTS ARE TO BE BOOKED AT THE FIRST AVAILABLE TOP OF THE HOUR APPT IN THE MORNINGS (8am, 9am, 10am, etc). AND AT THE TOP OF THE HOUR FOR OTHER APPOINTMENT TIMES AS WELL **FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN CANCELATION OR RESCHEDULING TO THE NEXT AVAILABLE TOP OF THE HOUR APPOINTMENT!!***
  • DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE/ NON-TRANSFERABLE. CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS = NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
  • Deposits should only be paid online. The remaining balance should be given in CASH ONLY– no negotiations. AfterPay is available and accepted. Please state this in the message box when you book. EFTPOS, Square, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, ApplePay, Gpay AVAILABLE at BRISBANE location and May Hills branch in Sydney.

If you are in a RUSH, please do not book an appointment. ** I take my time making sure each braid is intact and each style suits each person’s head shape. So if you’re in a rush then schedule for when you have time to sit and get the full quality service that is offered.**

No extra people are allowed when being serviced. Please note this as we do not accept ANYONE to accompany you to your appointment.

▫️**AVAILABILITY**— Books are open MONTHLY. At the end of each month (last week of the month), a new month will open with available appointments. Posts will be made on IG: @braid_salon and Facebook on a specific date.

On the calendar, GREEN means morning and afternoon are available, PURPLE means one fo the times as been booked and one time on that day is left, RED means booked out. GREY means unavailable or not yet available.

💚 NO SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS!

5 inches of hair all around MINIMUM. Hair must be stretched out to its full length. if less than 5 inches, your appointment is cancelled upon arrival and the deposit is non-refundable. Please take this seriously. Recently we have had people book and come in and sent home with no refunds because they choose to ignore this. 5 INCHES is ALL around your head, please.

I will not braid on freshly permed hair! Must wait at least 1-2 weeks.

💚 I cannot service those with extremely damaged/brittle hair, size-able bald areas, and those with Alopecia. (If you’re unsure about the conditions listed, feel free to set up a consultation or contact via email only at info@braidsalon.com.au – the consultation is 1 person a month.

HAIR IS INCLUDED FOR ALL SERVICES. NO EXCEPTIONS

HAIR PREP PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT TIME: Hair must be shampooed, completely blow dried out straight, and free of oils prior to arrival.

HAIR CARE BEFORE APPOINTMENT 

💚 Hair must be STRETCHED exceedingly well with a blow dryer. Hair textures that are thicker than 4c [thick/super thick hair] must blow dried – this is AFRICAN hair type, ignore if this does not relate to you.

Failure to follow rules will result in a cancelled/rescheduled appointment or additional charges
